Please join us Thursday, October 18 for another unforgettable evening of incredible food, great wine, and live world-class classical music as the Santa Clarita Symphony's popular Bon Appétit series presents 'Taste of Spain' at Robinson Ranch.
The "Taste of Spain" will present a four-course tasting menu with Spanish influences prepared by Robinson Ranch Executive Chef Tom McNulty paired with exclusive wines from some of the finest Spanish wine regions including Rioja, Ribera Del Duero, Priorat and Penedes along with a most unique musical performance. Award-winning artists from The Santa Clarita Artists' Association (SCAA) will also be on hand exhibiting their original vibrant works of art to enhance the evening.
THE MENU Reception - Garlic Shrimp, Spanish Cheese Puffs, Spanish Fruit and Cheeses 1st Course - TAPAS including Chorizo Empanadas, Tomato Bread Crostini with Braised Spicy Pork, and Paella Croquets 2nd Course - Citrus Frisee Salad with Seared Black Cod 3rd Course - Roasted Rack of Lamb with Asparagus and Artichoke 4th Course - Dessert - Special Spanish Chocolate Dessert THE MUSIC In keeping with the evening's theme, music for the "Taste of Spain" will perform selections from some of Spain's greatest composers including: Fernando Sor (1778-1839); Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909); Francisco Tarrega (1852-1909). Carlos Gonzales, generally accepted as one of the top classical guitarist in the U.S., will be on hand to offer his unique interpretation of these great musical selections. Appearing with Carlos Gonzales will be master flamenco guitarist Robert Boyd. The evening will also include an intimate, up-close flamenco dance performance.
