Robert M Gardner

Technology Director 

 

Robert is President and founder of Santa Clarita Web & IT a local information technology company.  Mr. Gardner founded Santa Clarita Web & IT in February 2005, a company specializing in high-end technology, with the emphasis on delivering Fortune500 technologies and best practices to local businesses in the community where he has spent most of his life, originally moving here in 1977.  In addition to running SCW & IT, Robert is a Board Member and Director of Technology for the Santa Clarita Symphony in addition to a long list of others including; the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita, AYSO Soccer and KHTS Advisory Board.

 

Prior to starting his own company, Robert was a Senior IT Manager and Engineering Consultant for several software companies based in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay including J2, eFax, Earthlink, AT&T, Bank of America, Union Bank of California, Citi Corp, Honeywell, Kana Software, Moonlight Systems, Vontu Software and many more.  Gathering a wealth of knowledge and experience over his tenure working with large corporations, Gardner now enjoys providing the same services to businesses close to home and demonstrating how they can compete in today's business leveraging technology.

 

Gardner has worked with both traditional “brick-and-mortar” organizations as well as venture funded "start-ups", blending business strategy and technology expertise with extensive experience in the areas of e-Business strategy, IT strategy, and business process design and automation.  Gardner's experience prior to his technical career started in retail working worked for Hughes Family Markets for almost 8 years.
